Provider Questions
What if I get negative reviews?
The question is not if but when. But you shouldn’t worry; there isn’t a company or person on the planet that doesn’t have detractors.
If your marketplace offers truly deliver value, you will have more satisfied customers than dis-satisfied ones. If you don’t you have bigger problems. You will go out of business regardless of any negative reviews left on Morevidareviews.com.
Instead look for the value in your negative reviews:
1- They bring any negative conversations to the surface where you can see them and take appropriate action. The fact that people didn’t use a forum like this one to express negative opinions about your offers doesn’t mean that they didn’t exist, or that they weren’s being expressed in other forums e.g. in blogs, articles, Facebook, Twitter etc.
2-They bring balance to your reviews. People have learned that all that glitters is not gold and they’ve been taken advantage of so many times that they no longer trust the testimonials on your site. Having reviews that also reflect what didn’t work or was less than ideal helps people trust that they are getting the real picture of what you have to offer.
3- They help people select what is right for them. Not everything is right for everyone. One man’s meat is another man’s poison. The comments in the reviews help readers of those reviews understand why people didn’t like certain things, and decide if those same aspects would or would not occur the same for them.
4- They expose the “crazies.“ Most people will leave fairly balanced reviews, and we do our best to instruct our members how to leave and read reviews. The people who tend to be emotional and overly zealous about why your offer will bring plague and pestilence on the world expose themselves as emotional, unstable and having an axe to grind.
5- They give you an opportunity to learn and improve. Apart from the “crazies” you can learn from most negative comments and reviews. Professionals will take whatever is actionable and improve their offers so that suggestions for improvement should be changing over time. Ironically, changing things because of some customer feedback often upsets a whole group of people that liked it just the way it was. C’est la vie.

What should I do if I think a review is unfair.
You can either
1- Do nothing. In many cases the best response is to do nothing. If it is clear to you that the review is unfair, chances are it will be clear to readers of this review also.
And/or
2- Allow your satisfied customers to come to your defense. This should happen naturally and you should avoid even the appearance of soliciting your customers to defend you. Big brands have been harnessing the power of their best customers for years and you should too.
Can I reach out to a reviewer? Should my response be public or private?
Yes you can. Public comments are a way for providers to add a helpful comment to a user’s review. Responding to reviewers’ concerns shows that you value their feedback and that you’re always striving to improve. If you feel that a reviewer is being particularly harsh or unfair it might be best to reach out privately to him or her to see if there is a way to address their issue without airing more dirty laundry or having an attempt at authenticate communication go terribly wrong. Be careful that your words or actions are not mis-interpreted as an attempt to “buy” a good review.
What if I don’t want to participate? Can I prevent reviews of me or my offers?
You could make a formal request to all of your customers or clients to not leave reviews of you or your offers, but first amendment rights being what they are in America this would probably guarantee that you would get reviewed only by your worst customers. If your concern is getting bad reviews, don’t worry about it and embrace this site as a way to more easily participate and even manage the conversations about your brand, than you could on Facebook or Twitter.
What if a review is completely false?
Sure, though we always recommend trying to resolve issues through private messaging first. If you feel a public comment is necessary, present your case as simply and politely as possible, and do not attack the reviewer under any circumstances. Remember that potential customers will be reading your comment and you want to leave them with a positive impression of your business.
Why should I not ignore this and hope it goes away?
Because your competitors might not, and this is a place for people to share what works. Your absence may be telling. MorevidaReviews is based on a philosophy that we all need an ongoing practice of education and coaching, and as such it is meant to stimulate more people taking more of what you provide.
We hope to help grow the market for people taking more courses and coaching, and to do that people must trust that the reviews here are candid. This necesarily means you may not like what people have to say all of the time, but the net benefit – if your offers are good – is that more people will be saying good things about you and this site is meant to help leverage your best customers.
This is why we also encourage people to use their Facebook profile so that people can trust the reviews are tied to real people and to minimize the tendency of people to be cruel because their identity is hidden.
Note: In the restaurant business the restaurants that benefit the most from review sites are the ones that actively encourage their customers to write reviews. They use negative feedback as a means to learn from and transform unhappy customers into loyal fans.
